When it comes to fashion designing or styling, it’s very common to look at ??????? If you guessed clothes turn to yo neighbor and say “the answer is clothes!” But looking at clothes is often not the right answer to getting inspired and sometimes it can block your original creativity.
Look at this Beauty. I mean REALLY look at her long and hard. What do you see? I see so many things, maybe a chain detail for straps on a dress; maybe some type of black faux fur. Of course I’ve got to throw some of my favorite color, the color purple, in the mix. What would she wear if brought to life … a bad pencil legged pant suit or a long silky sexy dress with maybe a high slit.
